Upgrade from regular shampoo from drugstores

I thought i was using decent shampoo and conditioners when I buy them at Marshall's and target. But one day, while getting my hair styled for a photoshoot, the stylist told me my scalp was in bad condition ( a lot of damdruff) and should change my shampoo and conditioner right away. She gave me samples of hasuo products and noticed the difference of less itchiness and softer/smoother hair.
